4.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. The Platform does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard approach to DNT compliance. However, you can manage your tracking preferences using the cookie consent tool or browser settings described above.
5. Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, the Platform uses browser local storage and session storage for:
- Caching dashboard data for performance optimization
- Storing temporary form data to prevent loss during navigation
- Maintaining state for real-time features (dispatch map, notifications)
These storage mechanisms operate similarly to cookies but are not transmitted with HTTP requests. You can clear local and session storage through your browser's developer tools or settings.
6. Client Websites
Operator client websites deployed on ScaleYourJunk subdomains (e.g., yourcompany.scaleyourjunk.com) may use a subset of the cookies listed above, specifically:
- Session cookies for the booking flow
- Stripe cookies for payment form security
- Google Analytics cookies (if configured by the operator)
Operators are responsible for ensuring their client websites comply with applicable cookie laws, including displaying appropriate cookie notices to their own customers.
7. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email.
